Native American Heritage Month 2020
I have always enjoyed talking about my Native American Indian culture and I have enjoyed sharing the many researched topics of the American Indian military service members while I served in the U.S. Army. Since retirement I have found a bit of a void speaking on diversity that includes the history and contributions of American Indians, the indigenous peoples of North America with my fellow service members, friends and family. I compiled a short video for this year’s Native American Heritage Month 2020 which I hope finds a place in curious minds of those who like to learn of diversity and how it strengthens the American horizons in all facets of our community in the United States of America. Today I’m focused on American Indians because that is my culture my heritage and my language and I’m proud to be a Navajo Woman from the Navajo Nation and I hope I represent my family well.
